Valerie DeLoach is the broker-in-charge at Why Realty Group, a boutique real estate firm in Wendell that she and her husband, Joe DeLoach, own. They built their firm with a focus of serving the community. Valerie is proof that if you do the right things for the right reasons - motivated by a love of your community - then success follows. In under six years as a Realtor, she has been on the RRAR Top Producer Council for two years and was featured this year in KNOW Raleigh Volume 3, a magazine that features high-achieving female leaders and entrepreneurs.
Valerie was born and raised in Greenville, NC and was a boarding student at Saint Mary's. As a graduate of the University of South Carolina, she's a die hard Gamecock, but spends much of her time cheering on the Corinth Holders High School girls basketball team (soon to be a Lincoln Memorial University Lady Railsplitter). When not in the stands, she is performing her duties as a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation ENC, a volunteer with the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church food pantry, a Pioneer Club teacher and member of Congregational Care at Wendell United Methodist Church, a member of the Rotary Club of Wendell, Chair of the Wendell Chamber of Commerce Past President Emeritus Board, and member of the Greater Pleasant Grove Development Corporation Board of Directors. She & Joe sponsor teams through the Wendell Parks & Rec department and enjoy doing as much as possible to specifically help the community of Wendell.
She married a Greenville boy, Joe DeLoach, who is her constant partner in crime and her biggest supporter. They have four amazing young adults (18-21 year olds) and two gorgeous golden retrievers. Although she has a lot on her plate, her family is still her number one hobby!
